Create a Repeating Broadcast
This article will guide you on how to create a repeating broadcast. Repeating broadcasts are a fantastic way to keep your contacts engaged by sending them friendly reminders on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Note: Repeating Broadcasts are available on the Credits plan only at the moment. We plan on bringing a version of repeating to monthly in the future.
Why Use Repeating Broadcasts?
- Consistency is Key: Keep your audience in the loop with regular updates.
- Time-Saver: Set it and forget it. Your message will auto-magically reach your audience.
- Never Miss a Beat: Important reminders, updates, or greetings will always be on time.
What types of messages can be repeated?
On the Create Broadcast screen, you can create repeating broadcasts. Text, Voice, and Combo broadcasts can all be set to repeat. Additionally, you may choose Announcements, Surveys, and Transfer and Connect broadcasts, all of which can be set to repeat.
What repeating schedules can I create?
You may create repeating schedules for a broadcast at the following intervals:
- Daily
- Weekly (ex: Mon., Wed., Friday or Every Weekday)
- Monthly (currently you may select a numerical day of the monthly only. ex: monthly on the 20th)
Do I have to select an end date?
By default, the repeating broadcasts will "never" end. However, you can select a date after which no more broadcasts will go out.
What if I run out of credits?
If you don't have enough credits to create the next broadcast, it won't be created. Don't worry, though! You can simply buy credits and create a new repeating broadcast to get it up and running again. The Auto Refill feature is also here to help you prevent running out of credits. Just make sure to set your auto refill minimum to a higher number than your broadcast needs to ensure it never runs out.
