Purchasing Monthly Subscriptions via Invoice: Limited Use Option

While credit cards are our preferred payment method, we know some organizations occasionally need an invoice instead. However, if you choose to purchase via invoice, you will lose access to certain features. 

Users should only request an invoice if credit card or ACH payment is not an option. If you believe invoicing is your only option, please review the details below to understand its limitations.

Key Considerations for Subscriptions via Invoice

  1. Eligibility and Duration:
    • Invoices can only be created for subscription durations of 3, 6, or 12 months.
    • No discounts are available for longer subscription terms.
  2. Manual Payment and Renewal:
    • Invoices must be paid manually using your preferred payment method.
    • Subscriptions renew automatically, with invoices generated one month before the end of the current billing period.
  3. Invoice Timing and Proration:
    • Invoices always renew on the first of the month.
    • If an invoice is created mid-month, the remaining days of that month will count as the first month of your subscription, with prorated costs applied.
  4. Feature Limitations:
    • Accounts using invoiced subscriptions cannot access enhanced texting features (e.g., sending images or messages longer than 320 characters). These features are only available on regular monthly plans paid via credit card.
  5. Due Date and Billing Information:
    • All invoices are due upon receipt.
    • Invoices are automatically emailed to the account owner and any listed billing contacts. Ensure your billing contacts are up to date. Learn more about managing billing contacts.

How to Create an Invoice

  1. Log in to your account at https://app.text-em-all.com/login.
  2. Navigate to Settings by clicking your name in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. Select Change Plan. (Note: Additional steps may be required if you have a free account)
  4. Choose your desired group size and click Change Group Size.
  5. Check the box for Create an Invoice and fill out the required Billing Address, optional Purchase Order Number, and any Additional Notes.
    • The subscription length defaults to 3 months but can be adjusted to 6 or 12 months.
    • Outstanding MMS charges must be paid before creating an invoice.
  6. Click Create Invoice to generate the document.
