Understanding Text Settings
You may manage several different settings on your account's Text Settings page. You can also set up your Text Phone Launch information and see and manage the text number(s) on your account.
Our texting platform does not require contacts to be opted in to be able to receive text messages. If you'd like contacts to opt in to receive texts, you can enable the "Required Opt-In?" feature in your text settings. Once this setting is enabled contacts can text JOIN to your text number.

Enable Join Reply
You may enable join replies that go out when someone texts "JOIN" to your account's text number. Join Replies can be no more than 160 characters in length.
Max Character Limit
The max character limit allows you to control the number of characters that you can include in your text broadcasts. Monthly plans are automatically set to 320 characters and cannot change their character limit. Pay-As-You-Go customers should be aware that the length of text messages affects the cost to send the message. Every 160 characters require an additional credit per recipient.
This setting can only be managed through the Settings page in the desktop application for credit accounts. You are unable to manage your max character limit via the mobile site. The default setting for new accounts is 320 characters. The max possible is 960 characters.
Text Launch by Phone
You can send text broadcasts from your phone without a computer as long as your contacts have previously been added to your account online AND you have set up Text Launch Phone.
Only one cell phone number per account may be authorized to send out Text Launch by Phone.

Note: When you launch a broadcast from your phone, your calling window will be ignored and your calls will be sent immediately.
You may enable Unlimited Conversations on this page. The Unlimited Conversations feature allows you to send unlimited messages from the Conversations page in your account. This is only available for Pay-As-You-Go accounts as a $40 per month add-on charge.
