2-Factor Authentication with Email
2-factor authentication with email helps keep your account secure by providing an extra layer of protection for your Text-Em-All account. With 2-factor authentication, you'll need your username, password, AND a one-time passcode to log in to your account. This passcode is sent via email to the email address connected to your account. Update your email for 2-factor authentication
In most cases, you’ll set up your email when you create a Text-Em-All account. However, if you currently have an Text-Em-All account you may update your email address to ensure you get 2FA emails on login.
- Go to your Settings > Profile page.
- Under Contact Info click Edit.
- In the Contact Info dialog enter the email address you wish to use for 2FA.
- Click Save when finished.
Log in with email 2-factor authentication
To log in using email 2-factor authentication, follow these steps.
- Go to Text-Em-All's log in page.
- Enter your Text-Em-All username and password on the login screen, and click Log In.
- Check your email and type the six-digit passcode into the Email verification code field on the Text-Em-All page.
- Click Log In when finished.
Never share your login credentials or the authentication code with anyone. Text-Em-All employees will never ask for the code.
Can I turn off 2-factor authentication?
No, you won’t be able to remove or disable 2-factor authentication. If you need to update your email you can update the email address in your account at any time.
