Issues with Unlimited Conversations number

This article walks you through some common fixes for when you encounter a message that your Unlimited Conversations number has a "billing problem" or is unable to send texts at the moment.


Text-Em-All Mobile App Users

If you are coming from Text-Em-All's mobile app you will need to log in to our desktop website on an internet browser and follow the below steps to get your Unlimited Conversations number up and running again. Check the Settings → Text Settings page to see what status your Unlimited Conversations number is in. 


My Unlimited Conversations Number has a "Billing Problem" status

This means there is either no credit card on file to renew your Unlimited Conversations subscription or we were unable to charge the existing card. To begin using the number again you must either cancel the subscription or fix the issue with your credit card and reactivate the subscription. 

If you do not have a credit card on file, follow these instructions:

  1. Please visit our support article on Managing Your Credit Card to read how to add a credit card to your account. 
  2. When finished return to this article and follow the steps outlining how to reactivate your Unlimited Conversations text number. 

If you do have a credit card on file, follow these instructions: 

  1. Check to see if your credit card has expired. If the card is expired, please visit our support article on Managing Your Credit Card to read how to add a credit card to your account. 
  2. If your card is not expired your bank may have rejected the charge. We recommend reaching out to your bank to resolve any issues on their end. 
  3. Once the cause of your credit card issue is determined and resolved, return to this article and follow the steps outlining how to reactivate your Unlimited Conversations text number. 

Reactivate Unlimited Conversations

Once your credit card issue is resolved you will need to reactivate your subscription. Follow these instructions to reactivate Unlimited Conversations: 

  1. Go to Settings → Text Settings (only admin accounts will have the option to reactivate an Unlimited Conversations text number)
  2. Click Make a Payment
  3. A dialog will appear, click Make Payment
  4. Enter your credit card's CVN code and click Enable Unlimited Conversations 

Cancel Unlimited Conversations

If you would like to cancel Unlimited Conversations you will need to do so before you can use the number with credits again. 

  1. Go to Settings → Text Settings (only admin accounts will have the option to reactivate an Unlimited Conversations text number)
  2. Click Make a Payment
  3. A dialog will appear, click Cancel Unlimited Plan
  4. Click Cancel Unlimited Conversations.
