Your Contacts page allows you to save and organize contacts that you'll message multiple times. You can add new contacts with detailed information, edit existing contact details, and safely remove contacts when needed. All contact changes take effect immediately and sync across your account.

How do I add a contact?

\n

Adding a contact creates a permanent entry in your database that you can use for multiple broadcasts and conversations. The only required information is a phone number, but you can include additional details to help organize and personalize your messaging.

  1. Click Contacts on the top navigation bar

  2. Click Add a Contact
    3. \n
  3. In the Add a Contact dialog, enter your contact's information. The only required field is \"Phone 1\", and you must input a 10-digit number. Using parentheses or dashes is optional

    To add your new contact to a group, click Groups on the left-hand side then click SELECT GROUP on the right and click the appropriate group(s)

Note: Our system will contact every phone number listed at once. We do not contact the secondary/tertiary numbers only when the first number is unsuccessful.

Note: If you add a contact to a group, the contact will also be added to the \"Everyone\" group as well. The \"Everyone\" group is the master list of all contacts in your account.

How do I edit a contact?

\n

Editing a contact allows you to update phone numbers, names, custom fields, and group assignments. Changes save immediately and apply to all future messages sent to that contact.

  1. Click Contacts on the top navigation bar

  2. On the Contacts page locate the contact you wish to edit and click on it
    3. \n
  3. This will bring up the \"Edit info\" dialog. Make any appropriate edits
    4. \n
  4. Click SAVE when finished

Note: From this edit dialog you may add a contact to a group or opt them in and out of receiving messages. This may be done from the Groups and Opt In/Out tabs on the left side of the dialog.

How do I delete contacts?

\n

Deleted contacts are moved to your Deleted folder where they remain for 30 days, giving you time to restore them if needed. After 30 days, they are permanently removed from your account.

Delete a single contact

  1. Click Contacts on the top navigation bar

  2. Find the contact you wish to delete and click the three-dot menu\n \n \n

Delete multiple contacts

  1. Click Contacts on the top navigation bar

  2. Check the box to the left of each contact's phone number that you want to delete
    3. \n
  3. Click the trash can icon in the light green banner that appears
